Adam Wyttenbach, Missouri

I currently reside in central Missouri where I’m stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base as part of the 509th Security Forces Squadron.  I have been in the Air Force for just over 15 years.

My hobbies include first and foremost archery, hunting, fishing and golf.  I’ve been married for 13 years to my wife Ora; we have two children together, Madison who is 12 years old and Hunter who is 4 years old.

I have been shooting archery for 22 years, I started hunting with my father at 12 years old and have no plans on quitting the sport for as long as my health allows.

I spend time teaching the Girl Scouts of America archery skills at summer camps and plan to become a certified Hunters Safety Course instructor in the future.

I actively shoot local Missouri 3-D archery tournaments and do very well, consistently placing in the top 5 for my class.  Recently, this year, I’ve started competing in National ASA events, and I absolutely love it.  Next year I plan to bump up in class to Open C.

Below are my accomplishments so far this year:

  • 2013 Brunton SW Shootout/Paris, TX/Bow Novice Class/T-6th place/416pts
  • 2013 Truball/G5/London, KY/Bow Novice Class/27th place/402pts
  • 2013 Mathews Pro/Am/Metropolis, IL/Bow Novice Class/6th place/422pts
  • 2013 Missouri State ASA Championships/Springfield, MO/ TBD
